We’re adding “kind af” to the definition of ourselves because that’s what we are. When we choose to be kind af, we choose to act with the intention of benefiting, but our actions have taken on a new spin. As new technologies, ways of living, and interacting cause our world to evolve, so do the actions of kindness. It’s time to redefine what kindness can look like, so we can get started on changing the fucking world.

Let’s be real here: the world can seem kinda fucked up 🙃. So, we’re here to change that and kindness is how we’re doing it. But how can kindness be the answer? 🤔

When we choose kindness, we can’t help but see ourselves as equal with all things surrounding us, so hate, destruction, judgement and selfish greed physically can’t co-exist.

Oh, and the best part about kindness? It spreads 😉. What if we all were to commit to adding two more acts of kindness to our days? Think about how quickly our world could change if we multiplied that by over 7 billion 😱.

We refuse to continue perpetuating the fucked up systems society tries to force us into. It’s time for a change and hate doesn’t stand a chance if we’re all choosing kindness.

What if we chose to miss our stop to do something kind for the person next to us on the bus?

Social media is our easy access to kind acts like sharing, listening and learning from each other’s experiences with inequality, so let’s keep it going. With kindness, we’re bringing empowerment, justice and acceptance to those who fuckin deserve it.

You’d be pretty pissed if you went to your fav restaurant only to have them sprinkle colourful micro-plastics all over your pasta instead of Parmesan right? Dying a few hours later from that colourful Parm doesn’t sound like a very glamorous death. So what about the countless creatures whose world’s are covered in that colourful Parm? If we choose to be kind, how can we not be empathetic af for these creatures and change our actions based on it?

Being kind also means taking a sec to listen and learn. We’d hear each other’s warnings, each other’s approaches to change and the earth itself. When our kindness doesn’t allow us to stand for any thing having to endure something we wouldn’t ourselves, we won’t support those that do.

Well the rumours are true! It’s been proven to decrease anxiety and depression for both the giver and receiver, but especially for the giver.1

When you’re in the thick of mental health, being kind towards yourself and simple acts towards others can make a difference AF.

If you’re in a good place but know of others who aren’t, reach out and make sure they know they gotchu.

And kindness may not be the cure for mental health, but it sure as hell can be the cure for the stigmatization of mental health. Choosing to be kind places empathy and sympathy at the forefront of our actions, so it’s impossible for judgement and insolence to take over.

There’s so many ways to spread kindness. Here are some filters and trends to help keep up the momentum.
